BET(Black Entertainment Television) Networks and AEG will put on the 2016 BET Experience at L.A. Live from June 23-26.
The BET Awards were established in 2001 to celebrate African American and other minorities in music ,acting ,sports and other fields of entertainment over the past years.The awards are presented annually, and are broadcast live on BET.

BET Awards Highlights 2015:
The Award was held on June 28, 2015 and the venue was Microsoft Theater and the Host was Chris Rock.
This year the award will be held on June 26, 2016 and the host will be Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross in the Los Angeles.
The BET Award Trophy , inspired by three words - aspire, ascend, achieve was designed by artist Carlos. Outkast won the first award trophy during the first ceremony in 2001.
